Hi, forget the 4g issue, please make the H8 record the selected time, with manual and programmed recordings now it stops when 2 files of 4Gb are created, in HD video is like 1:20 hrs

we are sorry about this problem, it need totally rewrite about the file system.
Recording for more than 4G would not be available is short time.

What kind of nonsense are you talking about?
This is an excuse on your part for a given problem about the length of the PVR, which exceeds 4 GB in size.

You don't need to rewrite any file system - the recording is done on an external storage device (external disk - hard HDD or solid state SDD disk or Flash storage (with a volume of 2 GB ... 32 GB ... 128 GB ... 1TB ...))

At the moment Hellobox 8 recognizes NFTS or FAT32 (formatting a disk or drive is only offered in FAT32).

Solving the problem is easy enough for normal programmers:
1.It is necessary to correct the program code that is responsible for PVR recording (there are errors in the code for controlling the external drive (output to the USB port))
Here are the solutions to the problem:
1. It is enough to add 1 byte for a variable to the program code (in which it will be as an 8- or 16-bit indicator for variables) to determine which system will store an external FAT32 or NFTS drive (possibly also in other file standards like exFAT (some information about file systems: site in Russian https://www.ixbt.com/storage/extstor-fs.shtml
turn on the translator and read in the selected language))

2. If the drive is in the FAT32 system, then it is enough to correct the error related to trimming the video file - trimming the beginning of the recording by the recording time on the second created video file: reduces the recording time after the first 4 GB of video recording.
3. If the drive is in NFTS system, then the recording should be recorded without cutting the video recording file by 4 GB.

It would be good that the H8 records are bigger than 4GB, but it is more important that it records the expected time the user wants, the recordinds should never stops for no reason.
