Con immenso piacere, grazie alla tua dritta determinante, il mio Hellobox 8 è tornato a funzionare
E' stata molto dura, ho iniziato con l' invertire i fili TX ed RX dal cavo che avevo acquistato per il V8 UHD e che non avevo ancora utilizzato.
Ho ripreso un vecchissimo PC con XP, con relativo monitor 14" (collegato con cavo RGB).
Ed infine, dopo decine di tentativi andati a vuoto, l' aggiornamento è andato a buon fine implementando i file mancanti sul tool più vecchio, che è stato quello che ha fatto il piccolo miracolo.
Ricordo, più che altro a me stesso, che i fw ufficiali sono quelli contenuti su:

Mi scuso con tutti gli utenti non italiani, che dovranno tradurre quanto ho scritto, ma la questione era diventata solo tra me e Cluster.One

The cable I used is the one in the photo, according to the diagram suggested by Hellobox (pin 3 TX in central position).
There is no need to insert the USB into the receiver as the firmware is downloaded directly via the RS232 cable.
The tool is the one with Hellobox8_upg dated 7/31/2019 to which I added the 3 files msvcp100.dll, mscr100.dll and upgclient.bin
As far as I'm concerned the discussion can end here, as if the released firmware didn't exist.
I hope that our discussion will be read carefully by anyone who decides to venture into the update.


Il cavo che ho utilizzato è quello in foto, secondo lo schema suggerito da Hellobox (pin 3 TX in posizione centrale).
Non occorre inserire la USB nel ricevitore dato che il firmware viene riversato direttamente tramite il cavo RS232.
Il tool è quello con Hellobox8_upg del 31/7/2019 a cui ho aggiunto i 3 file msvcp100.dll, mscr100.dll e upgclient.bin
Per quanto mi riguarda la discussione può chiudersi qui, come se il firmware rilasciato non esistesse.
Spero che la nostra discussione venga letta attentamente da chi decidesse in avventurarsi nell' aggiornamento.

With my PC the biggest problem is having to simultaneously start the tool myself with the start button and power the receiver, which doesn't have a switch.
A few seconds difference was enough and an error message popped up.
Finally, after a series of attempts, the procedure started correctly and ended after a few minutes.


Col mio PC il problema maggiore è costituito dal dovere contemporaneamente avviare da solo il tool col tasto start e alimentare il ricevitore, che non ha un interruttore.
Bastavano alcuni secondi di differenza e spuntava un messaggio di errore.
Finalmente dopo una serie di tentativi la procedura si è correttamente avviata e conclusa dopo alcuni minuti.
