Have you returned your i2M yet?
What computer and operating system are you using to do the update? You need to ensure you have the firmware updater installed, not just the editor, otherwise the firmware update cant be completed. Have you tried running the firmware updater on its own?
After you get "firmware update failed" does the i2M still function correctly? Can you run the editor and see what version of firmware is running on the i2M?
