Hi,
If you get the info of the chipset of the unit, maybe you can find a software on the internet that can be use to flash firmware for that specific chip.
I believe that every pins of the micro USB are solded, it is not detected by windows but look for the chip info, a software that can deal with that chip and the info of how to use that software.
Maybe some kind of serial to USB.
I'd like to help more but that's all the help that i can give for that case.
